I wonder if Portland will be that kind of team that makes a run after all their vets were traded, like the 2014-2015 C’s.  A bunch of younger guys excited for the chance to compete instead of older players who were just waiting to be traded.  They’ve won three in a row after the McCollum trade.  I guess we’ll see how they do the next two games vs Golden State and Memphis.

Portland continues to win.  I like it when players don't tank.  Best of luck to them.

Honestly pretty shocked the lakers came back and won there. Pretty impressive. That being said if ad is out a long time, and it looked bad, they are in trouble.

They are calling it an ankle sprain… watch that in slow motion, there’s no way there wasn’t ligament damage

Probably ends my fantasy season, but I think you're right.

Rotoworld says x-rays were negative. It looked gruesome though. He’ll probably miss around a month or so? That’s a big blow to the Lakers’ playoff hopes.

Knowing their luck he'll prob come back after ASG  ::)

Wonder the kind of PEDs LeBron been taking. No way he can score his 23rd straight 25+ points at his current age.

DeRozan sets a NBA record passing Wilt in the process.  He now has 7 consecutive games of at least 35 points AND at least 50% shooting.   Wilt last had 6 such games in 1963 (wilt did it other times as well but never got to 7 games).

I don't even know where I fall on PEDs anymore.  The stuff that is more related to healing, I think I'm okay with.  Sports leagues should just level the playing field and give everybody access to it under a doctor's care.

He's definitely figured out how not to move unless he needs to.  You can see him conserving energy while he plays.  His basketball intelligence helps a lot here.  Plus, he hasn't played in 23 straight games.  He plays huge minutes for a stretch then sits out games with soreness.  Whether or not he's on PED's he's doing everything else he can do to average huge numbers.  Nobody is going to expect him to play much D nowadays.

This is incredibly impressive and not being talked about enough. Kinda mad that we are on All-Star break now.

Yeah, he’s moving about 15% less on the court than he did just two years ago on a per-minute basis.

15% less than two years ago? I remember 2-3 years back noticing how he had already cut down on his movement. In a couple more, he'll be relatively stationary.

A stationary Lebron still probably averages 20 / 6 / 6, haha.

It is.  I think the most astonishing thing aside from it being DeRozan is that Wilt never had 7 nor did someone like like Jordan.  I mean Wilt averaged 50 points in a season (and averaged 50.6% that season) and didn't have 7 straight games of at least 35 points and 50% shooting.  I think the most he had that year was 5 even.

I mean Karl Malone at age 37 played 81 games at just under 36 mpg and averaged 23.2 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg leading a 53 win Utah team.  It isn't like we haven't seen the truly physically gifted players of yore not have great success at advanced ages either.
