Anthony Davis has what looked like a fairly serious ankle injury.

So it looks like the Lakers own their first round pick this year?

I imagine they shut LeBron down shortly after the all star and tank Hinkie style

I think the Lakers have a real risk of missing the playin. If they lose to tonight they only have a 3 game lead over New Orleans and San Antonio. They also have a stretch after allstar break with 8 of ten on road where they have really struggled this season.

Trading the First overall pick for a 33 year old lillard coming off surgery and a career worst season would be a really terrible deal for them. I would be thrilled if they made it.

They don’t own their pick this year. It was part of the AD package i think.

Or Beal even, my point is the Lakers will get a serious asset to pair with Westbrook’s expiring contract

I guess they don’t even own their pick. Yikes Lebron really made a bed. Anyone surprised if he goes back to Miami or Cleveland after this?

This is correct. I misread the protections 2021 #8-#30, Since it didn’t convey, Pelicans own the pick  :)

They are calling it an ankle sprain… watch that in slow motion, there’s no way there wasn’t ligament damage

Rotoworld says x-rays were negative. It looked gruesome though. He’ll probably miss around a month or so? That’s a big blow to the Lakers’ playoff hopes.

13 of the Celtics 26 losses are by 5 points or less.
