Good Lord, what an insane finish by both teams.

I think he's a bit overrated right now, but Morant is highly entertaining and likable.
If he can work on his defence (a LOT) he'll be pushing for best PG in the league. His offensive game is just thrilling.

That defence though, yuck

Edward’s coming up small in the clutch
These are two of the most undisciplined, un-composed teams going in the playoffs.

Young teams. They gotta go through the growing pains.
Indeed. Thankfully for us, most of our young guys got immense playoff experience super early on. Composed beyond their years

Exactly. Our young guys have gone through all those growing pains and them some.

They also got to play with some good vets. This year they've clearly made another leap,

I love it when Ayton is aggressive. Looks unstoppable when he feels like it.

Basically like an enormous Jeff Green, but more talent

Oops meant pelicans lol look a lot more like the team that peaked at around .500 ball tonight. Hope they can avoid a blowout here. I want more good basketball after that last game.

Steven Adams has been a big loss for Memphis. Just a bad matchup with Towns. Their D and rebounding has taken a major step back without him.

MEM should do better against Phoenix. Adams will be able to play Ayton. Then they can stay big and squeeze the court. Force CP3 to try and beat them from midrange. Actually, I kinda like MEM's ability to win that series with no-Booker.

Memphis will play the Warriors not the Suns in the next round.

Patrick Ewing? As I understand it both love their mid range shots.

Jeff Green just ain't got no handles. Maybe if he developed in todays NBA he'd be much better, he'd be Harrison Barnes and a full time 4.

Ah okay. Oh yeah, it's Doncic vs the Suns. Yeah I'll take Doncic over the Booker-less Suns.

GSW vs MEM should be a good series. GSW should win but those Grizzlies sure are scrappy.

I can't take Minnesota seriously. Memphis should be ashamed of themselves if they find a way to lose this series.

Ha, definitely true, but Ewing had a lot more desire to score than Ayton does (and should).

Ewing averaged around 8 free throws a game at his peak, scoring approximately 29ppg. Ayton has never averaged more than 2.5 free throws a game, and never more than 18.2ppg. Huge gulf there.

That being said, Ayton is only just now the age Ewing was as a rookie.

I wasn't, I was only intending to comment on the seeding, though reading what I wrote it didn't quite come off that way.

I'd be surprised if Minnesota won the next 2, but they certainly could.  I have far more confidence in Toronto than I do Minnesota, as an example.

I agree with that because of the Embid injury, but Minnesota was kind of in control of at least 3 of these games. Guess I would be surprised if the home teams don’t win the next two.
