Durant is a phenomenal player but my god he's so soft. If people have Instagram here, go check KD's most recent IG stories. If you remember some of the criticism Charles Barkley gave KD about his time with the Warriors, then you'll understand it.

Not a good look for KD IMHO

I just looked at that after you posted. The Houston rockets one just dumb. Those rockets guys were all basically washed up at that point. It certainly wasn’t a super team. It also didn’t accomplish anything so not even sure what the point is.

I've honestly begun to question his actual place in the pantheon on basketball.  I've lowered him considerably on my all time list because I don't think he is an alpha like the true all timers.  His comments about never being the focus and not knowing how to deal with it.  His flameouts in big moments in OKC, hise short cut to titles and then bolting when it got tough, and then going to a place to play with a friend rather than care about winning.  Chris Broussard, for all his faults, said it best that the problem with the Nets is that their Batman has a Robin personality and their Robin has a Batman personality.  Durant has the talent to be a #1 guy, but not the mental makeup to really handle it.  He needs the fall guy to take pressure off.  For so long that was Westbrook.  he then joined a champion and faced no adversity while healthy, got hurt, and bolted.  Now the last 2 years, he has had to be the man in large part because the guy he chose to play with flakes out consistently (when he is even available), and they've lost 8 of his last 9 playoff games several of which he just wasn't very good.  I used to think Durant was a top 15 player all time, now I think he is more like a top 25 guy, maybe even more like top 30 or 35.  I just don't think he really has it.  He could certainly prove me wrong next year and the Nets could make a deep playoff run, I just don't see it.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Yes, I 100% believe you gotta take that stance until Durant shows he can lead a team to a title. He is in the Pippen class of players All-Time.

Bulls' Zach LaVine enters COVID protocols, likely to miss Game 5 vs. Bucks-per CBS Sports

He’s been pretty bad all series. Not sure it makes much of a difference.

How much do we think Bruce Brown gets in free agency. I'd love to add him as a bench piece.
Less than the MLE. Around $7-8mil per year.

I'm not sure how much I want him here. I like his defense but he is an undersized 6-4 forward with a dodgy offensive game. He played great for most this series but that hasn't been the level he has typically played at this season or last season.

He needs to get that outside shot more consistent to be a quality role player.

Right now, I see him more as a suspect role player. His D is legit and dependable but his offensive game is not.

Got to admit, I am a little worried about this happening to our guys during the playoffs. Now that all players have had more than enough time to get vaccinated if they want to, I don't see why the NBA is still testing players and holding them out if they test positive. If they are healthy enough to play then play.

No Lowry and no Butler. If the Hawks still can't manage to win this game then they deserve to be eliminated.

I read up on this when it happened to George, you only get tested if you are having symptoms or self report you were with someone positive with symptoms (or something similar to this). They are not doing daily testing for asymptomatic people.

Somewhere Ben Simmons is thinking after reading this "dang it, would've saved myself a whole lot of grief had I remembered covid is still a thing."

Injuries have been piling this post season and the fact that the Bucks Celtics series is going to be super physical I believe whoever can stay healthy wins the East.
