Rooting for the Bulls to extend their series tonight with the Bucks.

Anyone know when round 2 would start based on the results of round 1? I’m almost more inclined to root for the Bucks to finish it off and start round 2 earlier.  Less of a chance for rust on the Celtics and less time for Middleton to return

If the Bucks win in 5 (Wed) or 6 (Fri) then Game 1 will be Sunday at 1pm in Boston.

TP, thanks!  So I’ll be rooting for a Bulls win tonight too.  A Friday to Sunday turnaround for a new series, especially on the road, would be tough.  Although the Bulls have shown no fight these past two games, so I think it’s a wrap

Most likely no Lavine (or Caruso), it’s a wrap.

Ehhhh that's a nice dunk but in general I like dunks where the defender actually contests rather than just going for the charge.  Give me Jaylen over Miles Bridges in overtime earlier in the season, personally.

Oh my god can you imagine how things will be if Toronto wins Game 6 and forces a Game 7

It was an extremely athletic and entertaining dunk but I thought it was a charge.

There was no way in hell the referees were gonna call a charge there.

It's the NBA so that's the right entertainment call. It's the same reason we were underrated against the Nets. Defense is criminally underrated in the NBA. That was a great defensive play.

I wonder what would have happened if they had challenged?  Can you even challenge a no-call?

I understand the no-call.  The contact was incidental because Morant more or less jumped over him.  But the play was properly defended and there was contact initiated by the offensive player.

It was a great defensive play but Morant gets a really good whistle.

Either it is a charge or it isn't.  I don't care time of game, circumstances, etc.  Either it was a charge or it isn't.  I'm fine if you don't call that a charge, it was minor contact, just be consistent about it and be so for both offense and defense.  Don't call ticky tack fouls on defenders but not call that a charge.  Just be consistent.

Hawks have to trade Collins, right?  He clearly isn't a good fit with Trae and the Hawks need to do something and moving Collins seems like their best bet.  Not sure what they could get for him or what team makes the most sense (maybe Dallas), but that seems like something Atlanta needs to do.

How about this

Dallas - Collins
Atlanta - Markkanen, Boban, 26, Dal 24 1st (lotto)
Cleveland - Dinwiddie

Cleveland could then sign and trade Sexton somewhere and get different assets for him since they have Dinwiddie to fill that role.  Dallas gets a solid 3rd player and the big man they are lacking.  Atlanta gets a nice shooting big man (on a reasonable contract), a bruiser, and a couple of 1st's to help replenish the coffers or to use in a trade.
