So for those of you who’ve been happily disengaged in the process…here it is now…

A Boston win makes them #2 vs Brooklyn or Cleveland.

A Boston loss/Philadelphia win makes the Celtics #4 vs Toronto.

A Boston loss/Philadelphia loss makes the Celtics #3 vs Chicago

Wow, the Pacers are down just 6 now. If they pull off the upset, that might change my thinking a bit for tonight lol

Nets hold on. They are the 7 seed.

Up to the C's to decide if they want to face BKN 1st round, or CHI/TOR.

If Cleveland can barely beat the Pacers and the Knicks, how can you be so sure they’ll beat Cleveland? Especially if Jarrett Allen and Mobley can both be back.

In a Cleveland vs. Cleveland matchup, 1 Cleveland HAS to win  ;) :P

Sorry, I forgot to say the Nets because, well, they are just very forgettable.

Lol I was just teasing.

The Nets defense is bad I agree, but playoffs are a different animal. I also fear the refs may start to sway things a certain way (towards the stars like KD + Kyrie) which can affect how the series goes. If we're being honest, the C's tend to lose their cool when the refs make calls against them especially in close games. That's also what I'm factoring.

Even last season, when Harden and Kyrie were compromised, KD nearly took Brooklyn past Milwaukee in a 7-game series. I think a healthy KD is the best player in the NBA and he's healthy now.

The reffing is a fair point, I don’t want them to decide a game let alone a series, but if we want to be title contenders we need to be ready to take on all comers. I think we can beat anyone in the first round if we play our game, and the 2 seed would put us in a better position in the second round.

But regardless, a TP to you for keeping the board active on the last day of the regular season, even if we don’t agree.

The NBA regular season is a broken joke. There isn't enough incentive to gain a high seed.

The top 4 seeds should be able to choose their opponent. The games today would actually be exciting for the right reasons. Instead you have teams tanking so that they're not effectively being punished for being good.

Either that or give the higher seed in a playoff series 5 home games instead of 4. Something needs to be done, the current system is trash.

Doesn't the winner of the 7/8 play-in game get the 7th seed?

And a TP to you as well!

Yeah I love engaging in the boards even when there's disagreements. Love to look at others' points of views and opinions and offer up my own, just so long as there's no personal attacks or real fighting lol

At the end of the day we're all rooting for the C's to succeed (and get Banner 18)

Not a chance. Cleveland totally loses.
