I would think then that by this point we'll be either trading Edwards/Williams or picking up their team option in October 31 for next season. I would think the same for Langford, Pritchard, Nesmith, but I thought those were easier decisions as far as picking-up their option and certainly with lesser chances of looking to be traded. We'll see as we still need to clear a roster spot one way or another.
In all, I don't think there'd be much interest in not picking up their options. Romeo and Williams are the ones that get a significant salary bump, so that may be something they might consider... it's $10M between them. But if we're going to operate above the cap as it seems to be the case, then might as well keep some salary you can use for trades if warranted.
