Any news on Harrison Barnes?

The news yesterday was to not expect him traded, and between the Celtics move for Fournier and the Nuggets move for Gordon, that seems correct.

How did that work for Danny Ainge? Teams will just look at their treasure chest and make demands accordingly.

I think Presti will have the same issues as Ainge...only worse with these picks. By having more then you could possibly use, they will be devalued and teams will demand more as a result. Also remember if a trade isn’t available when the picks occur, you have to use them. What do you do when you have to draft 5 guys at once and none want to be stashed overseas?

I'm really curious if OKC does a better job than Danny managing that many draft assets.  Danny didn't do a particularly good job in the past draft  (giving up Bane for peanuts) OR the draft where he was painted into a corner having to use picks on draft-and-stash players instead of taking better players still on the board that required a roster space (Yabu, Zizic) OR not being able to combine picks to move up in the draft even a few slots to make sure he got the player he wanted (Herro, Haliburton).

Source says that with Fournier deal set, and Gordon off to Denver, the Celtics are not close in any other talks. But with $17 million of the TPE now absorbed, it will get harder.

It all depends on the other teams.   How much to they undersell the draft pick values because OKC can't use them all?

we can go to sleep now because Danny is done for the day.....we are on a treadmill going no where and no one wanting to sign with the Cs.

Does anyone know if we can use the trade exceptions in the buyout market?  It may give us a leg up in that area.  I thought I saw something that you can but maybe it was just a dream. Lol couldn’t find anything in the CBA.
