Well, that's one Indy option out of the window. Come on Turner and Warren/Dipo!

Just curious,  are we even sure Danny likes Turner?  Its been going on for so long where did this rumor start last year?  What if Ainge just doesnt think Turner moves us?

Indiana remains Gordon Hayward's preferred destination, league sources say, which requires a sign-and-trade with the Celtics to net the former Butler star a deal estimated in the four-year, $100 million range

might be matching contracts.    dipo makes lots of money so the celtics would have to match.   mcd fits perfect,  but the celtics want warren who makes a more managable figure.

Dipo only makes 21M which is less than what Hayward will get and Dipo is on an expiring contract.  Warren has 3yr/54M on his contract.

Could it be Boston Dr’s checking Dipo’s medical records?

i was adding in turners money.   i can't imagine he isn't in there.   basically,  i don't think ainge is all that interested in turner for gordon straight up.     i think he's asking for turner and warren,   or turner  mcd and holiday.

getting turner and dip would mean having to get to the high 30's from haywards money of 25ish?   who do the celtics have to match that but smart.

I think you mean Turner.  Warren has 2 years, $25 million

You're right.  I transposed the two of them.

So given this number, it really seems doubtful that a Turner/Dipo pairing would happen in a trade for Hayward, as we'd likely have to part with Smart and/or Theis and others to make the money work. Turner/Warren is much more doable, even if we still need to add something else to sweeten the pot.

I don't really like any of these.  But Turner, Mcdermott and Holiday would be a really nice haul for what they bring to the needs of the team.   I think that's about 29ish million total.
