The thunder blew it up for a million Picks

Get ready for the "al horford and a bunch of d leaguers" show in okc

At what point does one accumulate too many picks? OKC must have like 30 picks in the next 5 years.
I don’t think that’ll be an issue roster-crunch wise because they should be able to consolidate them into players / top picks

Besides SGA, is there anyone else on their roster that they want to keep?

Probably Lu Dort given he's so cheap and projects to be a great defensive player. Maybe Bazley too? That's all though

Interesting that he's saying "sign and trades with multiple teams". Seems clear at this point that Hayward is working with C's to get a deal done that will compensate us, though the preference is Indy. Clearly there's not this animosity there that people keep claiming and perhaps an extension or resign here for at least a year is a realistic option.

I posted yesterday that I doubt Hayward would give the royal finger to Brad on his way out. He is clearly trying to help the Cs  and the Cs will not betray him either.

I wonder if one of the other teams is GSW. Maybe DA can get that #2 pick after all.  I be cool with taking back Wiggins and sending an other piece if needed. After that not sure what team Hayward would want to go to that DA could get prices he wants.

Or a three way with Washington. Send Wiggins to Was, and Beal to the Cs. Wall wanting out could mean Beal doesn't want to stay now.

Good option for them. Allows MPJ to take over the starting role that Grant and Millsap shared, and he provides some decent rebounding and the ability to stretch the floor.

I think his deadline for signing the super-max is December 21. Day before the season starts

Giles might be a possibility.  Does someone emerge from a stable of project/ish 5’s in Giles, Turner, Tacko and Bob?  Theis looks like the starter with that group.  He’s solid but I’d prefer to see him backing up someone bigger and better.

true

I do remember when Hayward chose the celrics, he wrote that letter (for the players Tribune I think) saying he he wanted to come play with Horford and IT. Then a few weeks later Danny trades IT. lol

Hayward acknowledged at the time that the nba is a business and you never know what can happen. I wonder now with Horford gone, and the influx of wings on the team if he felt neglected a bit. Although still a great team on paper, this wasn't the team he signed up for. One has to wonder if that plays a role. You come for Horford and IT, and now you're occasionally playing backup for some kid
