Indiana remains Gordon Hayward's preferred destination, league sources say, which requires a sign-and-trade with the Celtics to net the former Butler star a deal estimated in the four-year, $100 million range

Why is it taking a lifetime??

Because Hayward's always injured when it matters so the offseason is his time to shine lol.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Interesting that he's saying "sign and trades with multiple teams". Seems clear at this point that Hayward is working with C's to get a deal done that will compensate us, though the preference is Indy. Clearly there's not this animosity there that people keep claiming and perhaps an extension or resign here for at least a year is a realistic option.

Poeltl for $9m a year is a good get. He’s really solid.

Feel like we won’t know about Hayward for hours :(

He & Zion would be an incredible duo from a physicality perspective. Not sure about much else, but they’d beat people up

Who goes to OKC?  My guess is this turns the Jrue deal into a three way.

The spacing would be interesting with Zion/Adams/Ingram

New Orleans and Milwaukee are expanding the original Jrue Holiday trade to include more teams and players, including the routing of Steven Adams to the Pelicans, sources tell ESPN. Talks are moving toward a possible four-team trade.

Prediction: 4th team is Sactown, resurrecting the Bogs deal

At what point does one accumulate too many picks? OKC must have like 30 picks in the next 5 years.

Per Woj, there's been a trade.
The Mavericks gets James Johnson; Pistons get Delon Wright; OKC gets Ariza, Jackson and pick.

I assume the pick OKC gets is a 2nd.  This makes the 3rd time Ariza has been traded so far this offseason (Portland->Houston->Pistons->OKC).  It may not be his last trade this offseason.

I posted yesterday that I doubt Hayward would give the royal finger to Brad on his way out. He is clearly trying to help the Cs  and the Cs will not betray him either.

No such thing as too many picks.  They not only have a lot of 1sts but they are amongst a lot of teams.
