Ainge wants oladipo. It makes sense trading an all star for an all star  so I totally understand ainges vision here

If he pries oladipo from Indiana, we got ourselves a dynasty

Hayward’s best option is to stay in Boston

Detroit is on a roll....

That's a heck of a lot of money for Jerami Grant
Grant gets 3yr/60M while Harrell only gets 2yr full MLE.  Something does not compute.

why? Because we want him to.  He isn't going to win title here, he gets a ton if hate because of the contract and injuries, and Boston just isn't a great place to live.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I'd rather have Grant but not at that price difference

Well, if your “agent” has already made up his mind you’re headed to the Lakers, it limits your options.

Sign and trade?   Maybe him and Blake for Westbrook?   (Completely making this up with no idea about money)

Disagree about him not winning a title here, and can’t comment on living in Boston being an Australian, but he does get a boatload of hate and he doesn’t live in his home state. Think Robyn would be very much pro-Indy

Boston is an awesome place to live, but it’s got a hugely different culture than Indiana.  Hayward seems extremely family oriented, and his roots are all planted in Indiana.
