My brother from another mother is an Asst. AD for a Division I school in California. He saw a ton of Pritchard and said the Celtics got a major find in PP. Said he would never be a star but would become an instant fan favorite because he is tough, can shoot, is not afraid to shoot in crucial situations and is clutch as hell.
Pritchard is seasoned playing 4 years in the Pac-10. It appears he has honed his skills into skills that translate well to the NBA game. He has a high BBIQ, solid ball handling skills, an excellent shot and ability to hit from way downtown, though let's hope he isn't taking to many of those. He should be a decent defensive PG against PGs but I think he'll struggle defensively when switched off PGs.
I see a bunch of Fred VanVleet in Pritchard. If by the end of his rookie deal he is approaching that type of game, that would be a huge steal in the draft for Ainge.
