one funny thing about PP is ... stepping out of bounds ... average of once every other game

Brad made fun of him last week.  They must be laughing today again

Call HOU right NOW.......................................

Yup.  Crank call them ...  offer Brown/Pritchard and hang up the phone  ;D

Brown is TOO MUCH..........

But seriously I'm truly happy for the young dude...

Any rookie that can contribute right away like P2 has is HUGE.

He keeps this up and we could very well have Kemba's replacement....and knowing Kemba he'll get him ready for us in a couple of years....or if Kemba comes back healthy we'll have a spark-plug off the bench.

He did it three times in one game so I think it's more than one every other game.  Weird habbit!

Pritchards ability to get into the paint has been amazing. He’s always attacking; varying speeds, body control are awesome.

I figured he could be successful if he was a flame thrower from the perimeter who made the right pass and competed on defense but he’s actually making defenses move off the dribble. really really pleased with this. Should make Teague redundant by the time Kemba is back.

I am slowly getting more and more excited about this kid the more games we see

He has a natural basketball skill and fairly high basketball iq. Good timing...Knows when to shoot, when to pass.  Has the ball on a thread too

It's insane. At one point last night I thought he was losing it and would have to pick up his dribble, but no. He keeps it and barely even slows down.

Despite all the concerns about his athleticism, he looks dang quick with the ball in his hands
I'm bitter.

Inclined to agree. Very pleasantly surprised :)

Not in the same ballpark stylistically, but a couple of his passes against the Raptors showed some slight flashes of Jason Williams

And he doesn't look too small out there - he might be able to hold his own against wings in switches once he bulks up.

When EVERY MOCK DRAFT (including those composed on this Board) had PP going either 2nd round or undrafted, I think Ainge deserves more credit than blind luck with this pick.

Hopefully Kemba comes back at some point this season at at least 85% of himself. So for playoffs we would have Kemba and fastPP playing.

Then in a weird way, does Payton actually replace Gordon's efficient production with perhaps less rebounding, but more assists, with same good true shooting and high basketball IQ, making others better.

Am I overreacting after only 8 games? Yep

Its not the first time either. Tatum (if Ainge didnt trade num 1 pick he wouldve been taken first) and Brown were considered reaches.

I hated the pick at the time, but he has since started growing on me more and more. I love the pick now.

I will eat crow on this one, glad to as well
