Spo is a better coach on the fact he doesnt have to play the starting 5 to end the game

Crowder wasnt doing well. Benched for most of the 4th. Dragic wasnt good on D end. Sat the 4th

Brad =  Theis should get his 30 mins.  Yank Grant who held Bam scoreless.  Theis can do better ...   ;D

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Don't give a crap who wins in the finals, I just hope goon Howard comes out and gives one of Herro/Robinson/Dragic/Crowder a nice hard elbow to the face. That's all I have left to say.

Not me. I hope the Heat beat the Lakers.

You think this exit is disappointing now, it would hurt more if the Lakers ties the most championship record.

“Hopefully this will finally be the loss that the young Celtics need”

Yeah man fourth times the charm

Lol feels like we’ve been saying it all the time. And it’s not like the Heat are trotting out vets there. Bam’s 24 and Herro/Robinson are rooks.

I don't care what we do with the coaching staff this season, just get someone who can implement a movement offence similar to what LAL/DEN/MIA/GSW have - these offences raise the ceiling of your team and it showed in this series where Miami hung around before romping us in all four of their wins due to it.

Let's say theoretically the refs call a fair series and the heat roll the lakers four games to one.

It would certainly put this series in a different light.

For those saying this team peaked, our core is still very young and most guys Tatum and Brown's age never even make the playoffs, nevermind two conference finals in 3 years. Young teams never win titles, vets do. Lebron, MJ, etc. didn't win a title until they took their playoff beatings for a few years. This is how young guys learn to win.

Honestly it is weird how Miami seems to never make any mistakes. Surely they can't keep this up forever.

I hope they do because I sure as heck don't want the Lakers to tie us in championships.

Such a trivial thing. Can’t stand this heat team and the Lakers better steamroll them

Your no Celtic fan then...
I will be rooting as hell for the cHeat to end Lewhine's legacy

Agreed - I will NOT watch the Finals, but will be praying the Lakers do not tie us at 17.

(I've always thought it funny how the Lakers barely acknowledged those 1950's Minny titles until they had closed the title gap on us a little)

Yeah this can be viewed as me just coping. But I'll admit, now that the season's over I'm at a bit of peace. NFL is back and Cam Newton + the Pats actually look pretty good. And I guess now I can just continue focusing on classes more.

Once we went down 3-1 it already felt over anyways. Plus the NBA wants the Lakers to win and it's obvious
Nah I definitely feel you. Focus on classes and other hobbies. I don't even like NBA basketball anymore tbh.

Nice guy, but nice guys don't win in the NBA. Too soft for this league and doesn't hold his guys accountable.

Spoeltra's a nice guy. Vogel is too.

I have some gripes with Brad, but this idea that he needs to be a raging lunatic at all times isn't one of them.

I don't know about Vogel, but Spo's been a championship-proven coach. Knows how to control his team. Deflects the spotlight. Knows how to utilize his TO's.

The critique was that Brad was "too nice". I'm just saying, I don't know if that's legit. Spo is championship proven, but I can't recall ever seeing him lose it on a sideline.

Here's the problem with Brad: Grant Williams plays 10 minutes and has the highest +- on the team. Grant Williams was working and Brad just went back to Theis and Game. It really was that easy. Grant Williams should have played 30 plus minutes a game in every game in this series. He can shoot from outside and switch and defend Bam. Draymond Green said after game 4 that Williams was the key to us winning. He was right. He changed the way Miami could play but Brad kept going with Theis and Kanter. Brad couldn't see what was right in front of his eyes.

Ok let’s not overreact with drastic proposals yet. Let’s wait and see how the heat look against the lakers. I have the feeling they might handle them with ease. I don’t think lebron is gonna walk all over them.

You mean decisive ball movement might actually result in wins...?

Someone has to tell Brad, because for some reason his offences just flounder when the heat is on (no pun intended)

And we'll spend the next 10 years getting our brains beat out by Giannis and co. This year was a golden opportunity and we absolutely blew it >:(
