I just wish we would hire KG or Perkins as a assistant coach.

Sign a bruiser off the bench to give hard fouls

Don't give a crap who wins in the finals, I just hope goon Howard comes out and gives one of Herro/Robinson/Dragic/Crowder a nice hard elbow to the face. That's all I have left to say.

Not me. I hope the Heat beat the Lakers.

You think this exit is disappointing now, it would hurt more if the Lakers ties the most championship record.
tbh I don't really care at this point. Best team deserves to win, and if that's the Fakers, good on them.

Let's say theoretically the refs call a fair series and the heat roll the lakers four games to one.

It would certainly put this series in a different light.
Yeah, because when I think of NBA officiating, the first thing I think of is "fair."

There's a reason why Tim Donaghy was able to hide amongst his peers for years while he fixed games.

Yeah this can be viewed as me just coping. But I'll admit, now that the season's over I'm at a bit of peace. NFL is back and Cam Newton + the Pats actually look pretty good. And I guess now I can just continue focusing on classes more.

Once we went down 3-1 it already felt over anyways. Plus the NBA wants the Lakers to win and it's obvious
Nah I definitely feel you. Focus on classes and other hobbies. I don't even like NBA basketball anymore tbh.
Yeah, the NBA product sucks majorly. If I wasn't so invested in the Cs I would barely watch it.

I'm a basketball fan and a Celtics fan, not an NBA fan

Spo is a better coach on the fact he doesnt have to play the starting 5 to end the game

Crowder wasnt doing well. Benched for most of the 4th. Dragic wasnt good on D end. Sat the 4th

Brad =  Theis should get his 30 mins.  Yank Grant who held Bam scoreless.  Theis can do better ...   ;D

TRUTH! Spoelstra knew his personnel, knew he didn’t have all stars on his hands, and went with what was working.

I can understand putting a guy like Tatum or Jimmy Buckets in, regardless of the game they’re having. But theis? Hayward? Crowder? Dragic? You need the courage to not play these guys anymore even if they’re your regular rotation.

Yeah, I'll take a shot later tonight (Philippine time) to send off the Celtics season, but I'm also relieved that it's kind of over.

Focus on the NFL (Niners) and soccer (Arsenal) now for me, sports wise.

Heat were better. Simple as that... I am already at peace with it as painful and heart wrenching as it was to watch

Theis with one of the worst games I've seen a Celtic have in recent memory. Blown by time and time again, slow/faked out on close-outs, and put absolutely no pressure on the MIA def with threats of a lob, shooting, etc. He was so dominant last game, but looked like he was lounging out by the pool for this one. Extremely disappointing for an energy big.

That was the game. Grant only played 10 minutes with the highest +- on the team.

VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Congrats lakers on the nba championship

That's how it's looking.

That's how it's looked since they got AD, because it takes bonafide superstars to win championships. Here we are paying max salaries to two guys that are "squint hard enough and maybe they look star-ish" guys who can't stay healthy long enough to mean anything.

I don't care what we do with the coaching staff this season, just get someone who can implement a movement offence similar to what LAL/DEN/MIA/GSW have - these offences raise the ceiling of your team and it showed in this series where Miami hung around before romping us in all four of their wins due to it.
You mean decisive ball movement might actually result in wins...?

Someone has to tell Brad, because for some reason his offences just flounder when the heat is on (no pun intended)
And off ball movement to create openings. We need those easy baskets, even LAL has their role players cut and move a lot alongside their two MVP calibre players (and we don't even have a player who's on that level!). It's alarming that we're playing so static off the ball when the best teams with incredible top end talent use it heavily.
