Tatum was 9-25. Not gonna cut it.
Tatum 9-25, Kemba 2-8 from 3, Smart 8-21 including 13 3PA, a 70% version of Hayward, terrible Theis.

A lot went wrong. Brown and Grant were the only two who I find no real fault with
C's are a team that needs 3 of their core 5 to have good shooting nights to win.  not going to get to the finals when only 1 manages to show up (Brown)

Come back better next year.
LOL...Nets and Warriors will be loaded for bear next year. Bucks will be better than them, too.

This was the Celtics chance.

Gutless team.

Completely gutless.

Game completely turned when Spo called a TO at 96-90 and Stevens outsmarted himself by putting Theis in.

I don't think they are gutless.  Bam completely went off, so did Herro and Robinson.  They hit shot after shot after shot.
Sometimes you gotta just say good game.  This one def hurts, but our guys aren't gutless.  You must not have been watching the earlier playoff series.

Yeah they really really aren’t gutless at all. Have a nice young core but other then that simply aren’t good enough and the heat played and coached phenomenal and got all the performances they needed...Celtics first loss of the postseason that wasn’t decided by like 1 possession

Lol we're going to end the game with two timeouts and our challenge still. Brad's single greatest failure and shortcoming as a coach - and there are many - is his inability to effectively utilize his timeouts to stop runs and regroup our guys.

Instead of calling the timeout and regrouping our guys when we gave up the 6 point lead and they started their run, Brad just let it run like he always does, and that, in combination with his mind-boggling substitutions, led to our defeat.

Just dump him already. Nice guy, but nice guys don't win in the NBA. Too soft for this league and doesn't hold his guys accountable.

This basically - could have been easily managed-  could have easily given instructions to the kids etc - we looked like we had more of a chance vs the Cavs with lebron than this here lol - get rid of Kemba - Hayward - Theis - Smart has to be moved to Bench permanently (dont want him taking all the shots int he world) - i dont care how young we are - they have been around longer than the kids in the miami block lol - anyway make space make money and bring in some real players please - this is a joke what we have been watching since 2008 - thats 12 years by the way lol. Miami is only going to get better and the other teams around us

What a pathetic weak showing in the 4th quarter. I can already tell you what happens next year. Ainge adds 3 rookies who can’t shoot well and they will sit the bench. Celtics will still Chuck up 3’s and be mentally weak in the 4th quarter. They lose in the second round.

Honestly it is weird how Miami seems to never make any mistakes. Surely they can't keep this up forever.

I hope they do because I sure as heck don't want the Lakers to tie us in championships.

Such a trivial thing. Can’t stand this heat team and the Lakers better steamroll them

Your no Celtic fan then...
I will be rooting as hell for the cHeat to end Lewhine's legacy

Gordon and Kemba need to be replaced. Two max players disappearing in the most important game of your life and we got nothing out of both.

Something is wrong with the roster when your two max players are not your two best players.
Looks like we acquired both at the end of their respective primes and paid them for what they were before they got to Boston, their bodies started breaking down, they got injured, they ran out of gas and left us holding the bag of cash we still owe them.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Come back better next year.

Brad is going to have all those challenges and timeouts that will roll over next year.

SAD ENDING>>>>

Yeah this can be viewed as me just coping. But I'll admit, now that the season's over I'm at a bit of peace. NFL is back and Cam Newton + the Pats actually look pretty good. And I guess now I can just continue focusing on classes more.

Once we went down 3-1 it already felt over anyways. Plus the NBA wants the Lakers to win and it's obvious

Spoeltra's a nice guy. Vogel is too.

I have some gripes with Brad, but this idea that he needs to be a raging lunatic at all times isn't one of them.

hopefully, this humiliating loss will be good for these young c’s during the offseason.

our two stars need to reflect on their inconsistent performance and effort. if we’re being completely honest, they’re massively talented but soft mentally.

kemba and gordon need to opt out. danny needs a do-over here.

theis can stay, but only as a backup. danny, find us a big.

finally, brad needs to make major changes to his coaching style.

Fire Danny,He’s lived off of PP and KG both as players and trade assets for long enough.

I’d say trade Kemba because you don’t win title with that kind of PG anymore, but he’s only been here a year and no FA would ever sign with us, so trade Hayward.

Yeah, couldn't care less about the temperament of my coach. What matters is for some reason always, without fault, reverting back to your pet players like Theis
