  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Took out Grant Williams who was defending Bam well. Allowed his team to jack up threes with 5 minutes left and two timeouts remaining.
Brad Stevens is a smart coach, but he's a god awful game manager.

He lost this for us.

His next season should be his make it or break it year. If he doesn't reach the NBA Finals next year, he should be let go.

and he just got an extension..idk if it even kicked in yet

I think next year is when it kicks in, so yeah, I don't expect him to get the axe after this.

But next year, if he once again comes up short, extension or not, it's time we need to move to a different direction.

Regardless how you feel about Miami, you have to acknowledge they did outplay us much of this series AND they played like they wanted it more. That was the difference. Their guys showed up in the clutch way more than we did.

I'm going full steam ahead with the Brad Stevens = Mark Jackson/Del Harris.

Get rid of him and find someone who can genuinely unlock the true potential of our star wings

Don't know when is the next time the Celtics are going to win Banner 18. Next year's east is going to be very tough. Irving/Durant will be back, Brooklyn will be a powerhouse team and best bet they will certainly be the team to beat in the East when healthy. 76ers will have Simmons back with a new coach, Heat will be tough, Bucks will be healthy again, and the Raptors are still up there.

Brad should be...

You have momentum

Then Bam goes 8-0 against Theis

I called it before it happened he need to ride that Grant Williams line up till the end but he broke it up. Basketball is not a game of stats it's a game of energy and runs and as a coach you don't ruin your own run. That loss was all BRAD!!!!!
JVG said pretty much the same thing.  It was obvious that Theis matched up poorly vs Bam. Grant did better.

Props to Miami.  They're clearly the better team.  I won't be watching, but I hope they beat the Lakers.   It'll probably be 8 on 5 and it won't be in their favor.
Will be funny to see all these calls go against them.

Not that I'll be watching.

Hope the NBA loses money on the Finals.

Adebayo was like give me the ball!! He was so happy

I'm so glad you finally agreed with me on "getting rid of him" hahaha. Sigh.

TPs everyone for sticking with it through the playoffs, and good luck to Miami, they are a class act team. I hope they have some sort of a chance against the Lakers

I know it's disappointing but TPs all CelticStrongers for sticking it out throughout the year through the laughter and the tears, the good times and the bad!   :)

Good luck to the Heat, I will be cheering for them to upset LeBum and the Fakers!

Dont pickup Theis option

Or Brad will play him starter 30 mins a game next season

yeah, theis was the reason we lost the series
