My concern would be who is going to stop prime Shaq?

No single defender from this era could, and if surrounded by shooters there's nothing you can do other than hope to keep the ball out of his hands.

Zone defence with a 7 foot cyborg as your man defender and a basketball T-cell as your help defender ;). I'm pretty confident that my frontcourt can at least slow him down while really stretching him to the limits (pun intended) on the other end.

I am happy with how my team is looking.   Three top level two way players that seem very switchable.

Curious what others think this team really needs.  I have my opinion but always curious.
I think a versatile big man who can defend, shoot and create would be perfect for your team. There's one guy in that mould who's still available, but I'm not sure if he'll drop to your slot.

Would love to see this team with a defensive anchor in the middle and a stretch 4.

Thoughts on how to build around my Lillard/Kobe/Webber trio?
Loads of 3 and D players at the wing and some defensive monsters who can really finish at centre.

Since others are asking, I might as well also. What do you think my team needs?
A second creator and a 3 and D guy at the wing imo.

A shooter. I think you need a shooter. Preferably someone who can create for his own too, but shooting should be top priority.

May I ask, what do you think my team needs?
A PG who you can run the offence through would be my next pick if I were you.

This next pick of mine has me going in about 10 different directions.  Not an easy selection.

In the exact same boat. Keep flip-flopping between a whole bunch of guys. Hopefully the GMs picking before me make it a bit easier

Agreed here.

I would look at rim protection and/or a low usage wing with good defense.

You got your scoring and offense on point, inside and out. You got decent playmaking with Lillard and from C-Webb. And Kobe can lock down any wing he gets matched up to, or even a PG if you want to switch Dame to someone else who's not as offensively gifted.

Count me in here too. Although mine might be a bit more easier.

I'm debating between two guys.

I usually, by this point in the game, give my opinion as to who is leading and who is lagging based on the trios everyone has. But.....as Roy mentioned yesterday, all the teams are so very close in total quality, that even with 14 teams, there is little to no separation between them. I really can not pick either a best or worst team at this point.

I think these next two days and three rounds will be the most important of the game. Trades, if they happen, will be of the utmost importance as, if you trade up, you best hit on your guy, and if you trade down you best hit on the better other pick you get to justify it.

And, I think everyone should....and please don't take this in a dirty manner....try to fill their holes up as best they can. In other words, I wouldn't be taking a BPA that is redundant thinking you will be able to get great value out of them in a trade if it's not well received. With this group of GMs, you probably won't be getting the value back you think you will.

I agree with you both. I have a couple of teams I like less than others, but I feel like I need two more rounds of drafting to really start pegging teams as favourites.

Welp, the heck with it. Let's do this.

With the 1st pick of the 4th round, the Brooklyn Nets select: Yao Ming
