Bosh and Jokic I think are the best selections of the round (so far). Bosh was so good in Toronto, sacrificed a lot for the sake of winning in Miami, and then saw his stats all go back up when James left. Shame he got sick as I think he could have gone down as a top 10 PF all time (and no I'm not joking because once you get past the usual suspects, there are any number of players that could fit in that 8-10 range - as an example in 2016 when ESPN ranked PF's they had Pau at 9 and I think Bosh could have eclipsed Pau's career).
I am the opposite on Bosh.
I am unsure of his value in this Historical League. I loved him during his playing career but I believe the matchups are difficult for him in this fantasy league.
I felt he was a better center than a power forward (not just in Miami but in Toronto and for Team USA) but I believe he'd have a lot of trouble matching up with some of beefier centers in this league than the ones he had to face during his own playing career. Which forces Bosh to play PF where he was less successful at.
I go back to those Orlando matchups where Bosh destroyed Dwight Howard but could be contained by their PF/SF because their PF/SF had enough quickness to deny Bosh's face up game. I think that is Bosh's game in a nutshell. Get him against centers where he can use his quickness (on both ends of the floor) and he can succeed. Put him against smaller quicker defenders who can defend in space and Bosh struggles.
As a PF, I don't think his game was as strong. Bosh lacked the low post game to take advantage of his superior height / length. This meant he relied on his face up game but he needed a lot of space and time to exploit that face up game because his skill-level wasn't high enough (Dirk-like high I mean).
Toronto were happy to give Bosh that time and space because they had no other scorers and their #1 pick big man was a 3 point shooter who couldn't create his own offense but gave Bosh lots of room to put up numbers.
