Nice. Big Ben gobbling up everything the Paul's miss and swatting everything is a lot of fun.

With the 11th pick of the 3rd round in the Celticsstrong 2020 Historical Draft the Indiana Pacers are going with another Finals MVP to steady our imposing Front Line:

Tony Parker!
Nice! He was great for a long time. Consistently a top-5 PG for what seemed like forever, which is more than most can say.

A question: are you intentionally building a non-American team? If so, very cool

Love the pick, his defence would be even more valuable in the modern game due to his mobility.

Not too sure about this pick...I think it might be a slight reach unless you take his 19-20 season at face value.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I had to pick Ben. He was my main target all along, with Chauncey and Pau being second and third on the board.

I have my wings set, I needed a guy who will play terrific defense, protect the rim and get all the rebounds, and I'm glad he dropped.

Interested to see who Donoghus picks - I like his duo of McGrady and Davis.

I think Jimmy Butler is not that far behind Paul George.  Not that far of a reach here, I had Paul George as a second round player and Butler as a third round player.

I think there's a significant difference between the two - I think George is flat out a better player on both ends of the court (yes Butler is a better playmaker, but he loses ground with worse scoring and a ball dominant game). But yeah it's not a huge reach, I was just surprised that the Heat didn't try to select an All-NBA calibre wing from the 00s with a less ball dominant game.

Yeah, plus given the whole Minny debacle I feel as if JB alongside Dwight could be... interesting

I think he would get chewed up by Dwight if he ever tried to be confrontational - Dwight was an MVP calibre guy while Butler was an All-NBA wing at best.
