I thought Bosh's defense was just as good in Toronto as it was in Miami. He just didn't get credit for it back then. He wasn't on Team LeBron.

Bosh wasn’t really a post defender. He struggled mightily.

He was average to above-average otherwise.

^Bosh was amazing in Toronto for a 00s big. Defense wasn't his strong suit, but he held his own there.

Dang, I just came back and saw how much of a debate my wing lineup caused lol. I'll have to think on it.

Lanier is hard for me to place.  Great all around player, but I don't think he was elite at anything and never really played with other great players until he was a shell of himself.  I have no idea how he would do in this type of setting and especially coming off the bench.
I think he might even start for the team-not that he's a better player than Ewing, but he's a nice fit on offense.
Then I'd have concerns about Ewing off the bench.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Good player, but also a disappointing one, and not just due to injuries.

Yep and when you start looking at who is going to have to defend, I don't think he is up for the task.  That said, very strong all around offensive game and solid value for the 9th round.

Yeah, I wouldn't have Bosh trying to defend some of the dominant down low centers and PFs one on one in the post as I think he would struggle, but otherwise his defense was good.

I had him on my last team in the Historical Draft alongside Shaq. I had to bring Terry Porter back. I love his game. Great fit with Wilt and the rest of my backcourt. Three combo guards in Walt Frazier, Paul Westphal and Terry Porter who have good interchangeability with one another on offense and defense.
