With pick 6(1) the Chicago Bulls select:

A member of the 50-40-90 club

One of the supreme shooters of all time

A perfect bench scorer for this draft, he will not be starting for me:

It’s Miller Time!!!

Reggie Miller
I loved to watch Reggie play. So clutch. Good choice for the round.

After the game I am giving every owner 10 TPs each for such an amazing 5th round. The value of each pick was outstanding and the fits on the teams were excellent up and down the round. Kudos to you all.

Cheers! It definitely seemed like that was a more ground and predictable round compared to the last two, similar to the first 2 drafts.

I think it has to do with a certain owner having 4/12 of the picks  ;)

I love the Reggie Miller pick. He is a great complement to your other starters. Willis Reed is very good pickup as well. He can play both PF and C much like McHale and Duncan. Lots of big man interchangeability.

It had been posted maybe a minute when you made this comment...lol.

I love Nash as your sixth man and backup PG. You get a better floor general/passer with equally good shooting but worse defense when Curry sits. You pick up a high quality 3&D guy as your backup SG to cover for Nash and that would be ideal.

In my alternate reality where I took KG with my 1st round pick as I intended ... in which case, I would have drafted David Robinson with my 2nd round pick and then taken Steve Nash with my 3rd round pick.

That was one of my pre-draft ideas. Those 3 together.

I loved the idea of Nash as a playmaker with two big man finishers like David Robinson and KG + the idea of those two defensive bigs behind Nash on defense to protect him.

Nash is incredible value at this stage in the draft.

About timmmmmmme!  I had him as the ideal option at PG for so many teams.  His peak was insane, so efficient.  I had him pegged as a 3rd rounder, but just doesn't fit with MJ.  Amazing value for him to fall to you here.

I do think he'd fit your team in whatever minutes he can find behind Curry, but he could also be a point guard with Curry playing off ball for a little bit.  Not a lot as most teams would have some PG/SG on the floor that can absolutely abuse them.  But he might be of most value as a trade piece.

Nash and Curry together is insane.

The combined shooting power of those two - breathtaking.

...offensively. I just don't see a time in this draft that the both of them could be on the court at the same time.

LAL further solidifying itself as a top 3 team in my eyes alongside Philly and Chicago.

Utah should start Pettit at PF. He is too good not be starting. That might make it a four horse race at the top.
