I love the Grant Hill pick. He could do a bit of everything.

The Portland Trailblazers for pick 5 (6) will select perhaps the greatest player in Blazers history Clyde Drexler.

Portland nearly took Clyde the Glide last round, but are happy to welcome him to their starting 5.  Clyde played with Chuck later in their careers and was also on that Dream Team with Chuck and Magic, so the Blazers are continuing their trend of drafting actual teammates.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

There he goes. I was wondering how far Clyde was gonna fall. Tricky fit on these types of team imo, but at this point, it's a no brainer.

Just thinking about Magic on the fastbreak with Drexler on one wing and Barkley on the other wing -- there is no way to defend against that!

Killer transition offense.

yeah couldn't pass up the value.  I went with the "lesser" player over him last round in Worthy, but at this point just too much value, especially with me sitting there without a SG.

I'm really going to have to load up on defenders for my bench.  Worthy is my only really strong defender, but I think I will be able to outscore and outrebound just about everyone.  Here come those 130-125 type games.

Another 10-25 minutes at least. GF PMed me saying he wouldn't be able to make his pick until 1:30-1:45.

Killer transition offense.
And Worthy as another fast break guy! I'm terrified of their offensive rebounding and fast break offense lol, hoping that KG and Cowens can hold strong against them.

I forgot about Worthy. Man, Portland are huge on the perimeter.

Magic at 6-9. Drexler at 6-7. Worthy at 6-9.

That is a whole lot of size and length.

I'm wondering who the hell I can hide Curry on lol. Hope he can torch Magic enough from three and hold his ground when Magic backs him down ala a certain bulky guard popularising the style.

With the 7th pick in the 5th round of the Celticsstrong 2019 Historical Draft, The Miami Heat are adding the 60s/70s version of Kevin Garnett to our roster

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u7oFS57PTs

Nate Thurmond!

His Elite Defense and rebounding - along with his scoring - will take even more pressure off of the MDE (according to Kobe Bryant).

Dude played alongside none other than Wilt Chamberlin and played well.

Nate Thurmond is a nice pick. There’s an issue of lane clogging, perhaps, but Thurmond was a great player.
