Yay  :)

Won’t help in defense much but he actually can rebound and score.

Ugh. Smart is going to be working overtime to cover for these defensive holes... He also can't shoot. Just generally upset with this.

This is a fantastic get for the price. He has serious flaws, but his strengths (rebounding, offensive rebounding, scoring) are near elite. At the very least, Kanter/ Theis/ Williams covers a lot of possible matchups.

Not my favorite option but he can play, especially at the room exception.

Not the skillset I was looking for but probably the most skilled big left that we could afford. Beggars can't be choosers.

Now since his number is retired, let's get him in a nice #11 jersey.

Get Cousins we’re all set? More like get Cousins and we’ll have the worst defensive front court in NBA history.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Not my favorite (preferred Looney or Noel), but he can certainly be productive. Hate that the 2nd year is a player option. We will need all the salaries we can muster together for future trades.

I LOVE IT. Yeah, he's not a great defender, but he's an excellent offensive player and rebounder, both of which should serve Boston well.

I prefer those 2 also but my suspicion is at least Looney and probably both will get more than the room exception.
