Not surprising.  No incentive for BKN to help make a direct rival better than them, lol.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Celtics won’t give up first rounders in KI sign and trade so Brooklyn is out.

This may change if they get a commitment from Al, though. No need to keep that Milwaukee pick for next year now if Al resigns. The question is whether that would be enough.

I guess the bad blood is alive and well in BKN. They are literally stealing our max All-Star for nothing - seems like the least they could do is a s&t for us, especially since they miraculously had KD land in their laps, too. I know favors aren't the norm in basketball, but it sounded like we were willing to give some compensation (and CHA should be willing to do the same). Two 2nd rounders is better than no 2nd rounders.

Three team Boston  S&T deal dead, per Marks.

Just double S&T with Charlotte

Who else are we signing/trading? Morris?

They’re still rubbing their bums from our last trade with them. What do you expect?

So that eliminates the full MLE and Horford’s rights?

if it is still a S&T then something has to be sent out to Charlotte. we will have to wait and see if they are straight signings or the other shoe drops.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Kemba is not bringing us to the championship.  Our funds would have been better spent on a player who can bring our level to championship caliber. DA has to prioritize big men more or the championship drought will continue until he is gone.

Pistons did it in 04, Dallas did it and last year Toronto did it and don’t tell me it was because of Leonard. Leonard was a piece

Danny better have a plan for our frontcourt now.

Facing Embiid + Horford for years to come now. Ugh.

So what will Danny have to offer now?  Al is gone. He did the sign and trade with Rozier - over the Cap still?  Under?  Do we have the full MLe?

If no MLE we just have the 4.8 room exception?

Yeah, it's great to have a winner like Kemba in the fold but Philly's size advantage is laughable right now.

Not many difference makers available.  Looney, favors, Adam's and all come with complications or there isn't enough money to sign or trade for them.

I'd offer it all to Favors. Think he could return to that 15/8 guy he used to be.
