This is actually a good deal:

"Aminu is headed to Orlando
Free agent forward Al-Farouq Aminu agreed to a three-year, $29 million deal with the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski."

Imagine being a Knicks fan right now
LOL. Can't wait for the NY newspapers' sports sections tomorrow. The first bunch of pages will be on the Nets and the Knicks might get a tiny 2" x 2" section in the corner of the first page saying Knicks signed Randle(Story on page 7 of sports section).
According to Bobby Marks, the Knicks still have 51M in cap space.  Imagine the damage they can do with that.  Hmm...  Trade for Wall, Trade for Paul, Trade for Wiggins, Overpay a bunch of back benchers.  Choices. Choices.

Free agent guard George Hill has agreed to a three-year, $29M deal to return to Milwaukee, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

He's a 33 year old guard with an injury history....

SAS 🤣😂🤣😂😁😂 on ESPN2 now... I’m literally crying I’m laughing sooo hard

Randle 3 years 63 million to the Knicks!
Honestly good on Terry Rozier. Despite being god-awful for all of last season he somehow hustled himself into a comparable contract to Randle, a 20/10 big man.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

and then we wake up and remember the franchise is run by dolan.

Danny must be really busy, because we haven't heard crap about Boston for hours now. I NEED SOME CELTICS NEWS!!
I think the Celtics news is over for the day. Next thing to hapoen would be a Horford decision and his decision might not happen until Kawhi decides where he is going and the rest of the dominoes fall into place. I think Kawhi might make the rounds and take his time in announcing where he is going.

I really want them to trade for Paul. Would just be the cherry on top

The Knicks, obviously with a ton of cap space left after the Randle agreement, have interest in  Wayne Ellington and veteran Taj  Gibson.

According to Stephen A Smith:

Quote
[The Clippers] believe that the Lakers have no shot, and it's between them and Toronto.

Not necessarily true, but interesting...

This reminds me of the certainty someone had (can't recall) that Shaq was going to resign with Orlando.  I was so relieved.  Then crushed.

Please go LAC -- how about that team getting a little love? Jerry West work your magic -- get it done for the Clips.

Even more surprising is that Rozier's contract is fully guaranteed while Randle has a 3rd year team option  ;D

He's a solid vet who has destroyed us in the playoffs two years in a row. I see what you're saying, but he's definitely a good player.

$36 million a year for tobias harris? wow.
Considering some of the other contracts given so far I wouldn't consider that a wow.

Remove your Sixers fandom for a few minutes and reassess.

Thanks.
He actually took a bit less than his full Max.  If you all thought a near all-star was going to sign for much less than that, you need to go back to remedial NBA financials course.

It's a lot of money, but not a surprise - I fully expected Harris to get the max (or just about). At least Philly didn't lose the MIA pick and Shamet for a rental; Harris will be a big part of their team moving forward. He is a really good player (still probably overpaid, though).
Most of the contracts given out so far are overpays.  The value contracts are for the true stars and good rookies.
"It isn't the high price of stars that is expensive, it's the high price of mediocrity."

Bill Veeck

Exactly.

Overpaying for a guy that is more talented, but not as good a fit for a guy you had on a much better contract (Covington) is a horrible trade off.
They didn't trade Covington for Harris.  They traded Covington and Saric for Butler.
Covington is a really nice role player but we exposed his limitations in the playoffs the previous season.  Covington's streaky shooting and inability to drive by a blind, lame girl scout made easy to layoff him at times.  Can't have that when you've also got Simmons.

I understand they weren’t traded for each other; however, Harris is the Covington replacement going forward. I hope the 133M extra you guys are paying him is well worth it.  ;)
I keep saying that I'm an Embiid fan not a Sixers fan but some of you people must have extra big, thick goggles.  Hate to break it to you but Harris isn't that far off from Kemba.
