Remove your Sixers fandom for a few minutes and reassess.Thanks.He actually took a bit less than his full Max. If you all thought a near all-star was going to sign for much less than that, you need to go back to remedial NBA financials course. It's a lot of money, but not a surprise - I fully expected Harris to get the max (or just about). At least Philly didn't lose the MIA pick and Shamet for a rental; Harris will be a big part of their team moving forward. He is a really good player (still probably overpaid, though). Most of the contracts given out so far are overpays. The value contracts are for the true stars and good rookies. Imagine being a Knicks fan right now
Quote from: Phantom255x on June 30, 2019, 07:25:56 PMI know PHI sort of had to do it, but good grief Tobias Harris getting 5/180M? Honestly if Butler leaves, I think PHI regresses. Already lost Reddick and their bench remains thin.If Butler leaves they'll have plenty of space to shore up their bench. Harris only has a cap hold of 22M so he won't sign until they have.

Bucks have lost brogdon, 76ers have lost reddick and may lose butler, Toronto could lose Leonard. Outside of the pacers this could not be going better for the Celtics. Bring back al!
