It should be noted that this article is not accurately reporting Stein. He never said that LA was the “front runner” rather that they are a legitimate possibility for Kawhi. That’s a big difference.

That said, if it did happen I’d lose a lot of respect for Kawhi. After just showing that he could lead a team to a championship as the main guy with a borderline top-30 player as the next best player on his team, to then go be sideshow to Lebron and AD would be about as weak of a move as KD going to GSW. I’d honestly rather him go to NY or Brooklyn with KD.
