Well it's the G league.  Not a hard league to dominate.  But I was impressed that he had 6 blocks as a 6'6 player.  I don't remember reading about his defense being that active.

With the unfortunate injury to GH, Langford will get a chance on the second unit to provide scoring and energy.

On offense, his ability to get to the rim is impressive and he's an adept finisher once he's there. On defense, his on-ball defense (positioning, timing, etc.) seems to be advanced.

Those skills can quickly translate to the NBA level if he has a great work ethic to know his role in Brad's system. I can see Romeo being great in Hayward's role (dribble-drives, catching the ball on the move, etc.)

Hopefully, he develops quickly because he's going to be worth much more than "insert random big".

Well, his right hand was injured during his entire season at Indiana and he apparently played through it by playing a lot of left handed basketball. Makes sense he would have a good use of his off hand.

He's still the mystery man. He'll first  have to leapfrog Brad, Carsen, Semi and Javonte. Don't believe that will happen soon.

For now, just staying off the injured list will be an accomplishment. Wish him luck!

One of the most exciting things about the prospect of Langford being able to contribute early in his Celtics tenure is what Hayward said about his understanding of advanced defensive concepts as a rookie.

I get the impression that he is we'll versed in the Indiana terminology that is the basis for this system.

1 strong G league game is nothing to get excited about but I'm sticking by Langford.

This summer I predicted that he'd be starting by the end of his sophomore season. So far that concept has been unlikely at best, but there's still time for him to develop by then.

I’m not so sure, he plays a different position from Brad, so I don’t see that as an issue. Carsen has been struggling and Semi has been relegated to garbage time. I think that Romeo will play ahead of Semi.
