Bass has the worst hands and ball handle in the NBA

That's why nobody wants him.
word. no-pass-bass will stay here til his contract ends.

Bass has little trade value, but that value should peak at the trade deadline this year, when he'll be a short, low-cost rental for a contender needing frontcourt depth.

I think there's a good chance he's traded at that point - maybe for another expiring (or trade exception) and a 2nd rounder or something. A contender facing the luxury tax might even give up its first rounder.

Green is the real albatross because of his player option. If he plays badly he's opting in, which sticks the acquiring team with another year of "bad Jeff." But if he excels he's opting out, meaning the acquiring team must pay dearly or lose him at the end of this year.

Chris22 loves PER. It's his thing.

Gotcha

Celtics fans are such homers about their players.
There is a reason we lost so many games last year.
Once again, Bradley was overpowered by OJ Mayo.

I would like you to please take a look at Avery Bradley's ranking among starting NBA calibre guards (not just shooting guards, but all guards) in the major basic statistical categories that are relevant for a guard (Per 48 minutes), such as:

Scoring (PPG)
Rebounding (RPG)
Assists (APG)
Steals (SPG)
Fewest turnovers (TPG)
FG%
3PT%
FT%

I think you'll find he ranks pretty well in all categories except assists, which I would suggest is the one key statistic that brings his Per down so much.  Yet it is not an especially important statistic when you have so many good passers on the team.

Bradley's ranking among shooting guards only......

Scoring 19th....he shoots a lot for a bad team.
Rebounds 6th....very good.
Steals 15th...the thing he does well.
Assists 53rd....he's a terrible passer.
Turnovers per game 78th.....Yikes!
FG% 35th....he's not a good shooter.
FT% 43rd....that one surprised me.

Thanks for proving my point. He isn't very good.

Here are the links if anyone doubts what I am saying.

Did you intentionally skip over 3p% because it is one of Bradley's strengths and would make him look good?
