Don't have much time to post but I thought that the Celtics played hard and deserved to win last night. If they can keep up the defensive and rebounding energy the rest of the way, then they will stay competitive all the way through to where they finish in the playoffs.

Best game since Christmas day.

I'm still not counting an NBA title, though. There is simply too much good young talented teams in this league that are equally motivated to win the Title.

I keep wondering what happened to San Antonio this year. And what about Utah and Phoenix that keep giving teams a hard time? I think Portland is an up and coming team, too. Every team will run into resistance at some point in the year. I hope the Celtics have run through their resistance. I guess we'll find out soon enough as they play through Amen Corner (@LAL, @PDX, @DEN in four nights - really 3 and 1/2 because Denver is a late Sunday afternoon game).

Very nice to see them win, but it feels kind of hollow because I don't feel like they deserve it.  Their execution down the stretch on the offensive end was atrocious.

If the Lakers had Kobe in this game they certainly would have won.

The last two games with the Lakers came down to the last shot.  In the game Kobe played, he made the shot to win.  Without him they don't have another really big threat to make it.
So, in the future, always always double-team Kobe at the end and make him give up the ball (to anyone, other than someone under for a layup).  Sound strategy?

It was my agreed buyout plan :P

But seriously I plan on being a good student of the game and not show my emotions on the board. The C's seem to be doing a lot better with my new handle so I'll keep it going for a while ;)

Why was MArquis upset when he was subbed out? That MOFO had +/- (-19). You sucked marquis have seat at the bench.
He was angry at his poor play. He made 4 or 5 really bad mistakes and each time was beating himself up about it.

He did it on the missed box out of Sasha for a layup and a few other times.

Yes, it was a very uncharacteristic game from Marquis in all facets of the game. The Shannon Brown 3 he got lost on, the missed boxout, the drive into 3 Lakers big men. I still have a lot of faith in him, though. I trust him more than anyone else on the bench.

agreed - i like marquis daniels game a lot - he usually plays within himself and plays to his strengths. he just makes things run more smoothly and he's a playmaker who brings a  bunch of intangibles to the game with his presence. this team has missed him and he's probably still running the rust off at this point.
