After the loss to Team USA:

Mike Finger: Victor Wembanyama, with a silver medal around his neck: I?m learning, and I?m worried for the opponents in a couple of years. In FIBA or the NBA? Everywhere.

The issue with him is gonna be similar to Porzingis and others with similar builds... staying healthy. But if he can manage to be relatively healthy... Wemby will definitely be the face of the league a few years from now.

I think it is interesting that what was once a possible wedge between Brown and Tatum is now something they can bond over.  They can both diss USA Basketball.  Both can be mad about it. Be mad together about it.

I think they both got raw deals in this. They both have every right to be a little miffed. Now go show em by winning another title.

Clutch shooting by Steph

Definitely an incredible clutch performance.

I would have been just fine without the "nodding off to sleep" gesture, however.
I hate it during NBA games and even more so for the Olympics where I think some effort at decorum should be a priority.
You are representing your country, it's about a lot more than one player.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

yup on the 'night night' gesture at the olympics.  maybe I am too old school, but how about just not doing it at the Olympics?  We all know you won us the game.   Great, just let your play do your talking for you.

LeBron, Curry, KD, AD...those guys are all divas lol. Can't wait for Boston to put Curry and Kerr to sleep this upcoming season.

I?m not buying Kerr?s ?math problem? excuse.

It's simple...Kerr ranks the players in value from 1-12. The top 10 always play. The 11th plays now and then, and the 12th is the guy carrying the bags. Kerr has decided that Tatum provides less value than 10 other players on the team, who he is playing more. I don't blame JT for playing like a dunce the last few games, just like any 11th man who doesn't know when he will play or not and what role he will fill, he was caught between playing a facilitator role or playing a dominant role. Should have just played like KT or Ant and let it fly.

I hope JT uses this latest disrespect as motivation this next season and stuff that No.11 guy ranking into Kerr's mouth and make him choke on it!  >:(
Right, for whatever reason, JT shot poorly. I would have preferred if Kerr just said that. In a diplomatic way, he could have said something like, ?I went with the players who gave us the best chance to win the series? instead of making up an excuse.

I saw on RealGM that posters were saying that Bill Simmons said Tatum was shooting badly in practices as well. Not just in games.

I couldn't find where he said it.

That's really bad if he's shooting bad in practices. Ben Simmons 2.0?

Pretty sure he?s shooting fine in practice. But the dude could not shoot in the playoffs and didn?t hit a single jump shot for team USA?concerning.

Tatum has played A LOT, and I mean A LOT of basketball over the last 3 years alone.  Deep playoff runs, two Olympic games etc.  He's played more games then any basketball player in the world.  He needs rest and when he gets back to work it will be time to focus on that shot.  He looked tired and worn out to me.

Exactly. He will be fine.
