Bass has the worst hands and ball handle in the NBA
That's why nobody wants him.
word. no-pass-bass will stay here til his contract ends.
Bass has little trade value, but that value should peak at the trade deadline this year, when he'll be a short, low-cost rental for a contender needing frontcourt depth.
I think there's a good chance he's traded at that point - maybe for another expiring (or trade exception) and a 2nd rounder or something. A contender facing the luxury tax might even give up its first rounder.
Green is the real albatross because of his player option. If he plays badly he's opting in, which sticks the acquiring team with another year of "bad Jeff." But if he excels he's opting out, meaning the acquiring team must pay dearly or lose him at the end of this year.
