I think Rondo will help us a lot next game.  Surprisingly Teague did a job on Bradley.

This makes no sense. Ive played competitive sports all my life and ive never once bumped a ref out of frustration. Getting mad at a call and showing your emotions is one thing, and thats acceptable... But the ref made the call, how is Rondo going to change it by following the ref after already recieving a technical. Show your emotion, get your tech, and be done with it.

I've played and coached this game for decades. Been ejected from games as a coach.

There is zero excuse for touching an official. Ever. Anything else is just a silly alibi that falls on deaf ears.

Rondo got off easy with a one-game suspension, and he richly deserved it.

And he got off easy again last night when his teammates played with the character and composure he badly failed to display in Game 1. Along with the apology he owes them for his conduct, he owes them some sincere gratitude for bailing his immaturity out.

Well said.

They certainly rose to the occasion in his absence.

Last night was another reminder why this is the greatest organization in professional basketball.

  • I love the Celtics
Rondo should have choked Davis within an inch of his life and if you don't understand why he should have done that than you must never have played sports at the level I have.

He made a mistake.  Luckily, these guys have his back.  Time to move on.

The apology for his conduct and immaturity should be fairly simple, just a rehash of whatever KG and PP said for similar antics in the last few playoffs. Rondo made a mistake in the heat of the moment, but that hardly sets him apart from other nba stars.
