Irving will join the Bucks imo... as long as the Bucks don't win it all, then there isn't a need for him

Only way he returns to the Celts is CBS is fired. And half the team is gone. Hayward, Brown etc.

Tatum his buddy stays.  Smart stays.  AD is brought in via trade. Other vets that compliment Irving need for space are traded for/signed/drafted.  Basically Irving running the show/architect

something like

1. Celts sign Lue as coach
2. Brown, Rozier (sign and trade), multiple 1st including 2019 Memphis 1st for Davis
3. Hayward traded

If you remember when he got here that first year he averaged an efficient 20 a game, he trusted his teammates. The Celtics went on a nice winning streak. The ball actually moved around as he got to know his team. Then he got injured and we never saw that player again.

Somewhere along the line Superstar Uncle Drew took over and the Celtics offense became one dimensional and predictable. He lost trust in his teammates. It became his duty alone to close out close games. Our players then began to imitate him, knowing once they had the ball in their hands they'd never get it back if they gave it up. Everyone became an iso player.

I really feel he is looking for an Anthony Davis type of megastar to take the pressure off of himself. Someone who will get him off the hook that he trusts.

The bucks are in cap hell and just signed bledsoe to a multi year extension. Can we at least try to keep it logical?

I hope he goes to the Lakers and he and Bron get their butts kicked by the Warriors, Rockets etc for the next few years.

i can't believe posters i generally respect as knowledgable think he would go sign with a guy he hated playing with for 4 years...

honestly i'm thinking if he doesn't join up with KD, then he'll look around and see that joining Bron in LA is probably his easiest way to get back to being relevant without having to take on leadership responsibilities.

You know - I was seriously asking myself this SAME QUESTION about 14 years ago when I saw THIS



Of course - fast forward the NBA Pay scale and THAT withholding I think PP34 was at a crossroads THEN - as Kyrie is at one NOW.

I believe it all worked out in the end for our beloved former Captain.

It WILL work out for Kyrie if he stays - and faints not.
