Quote from: gift on January 29, 2019, 09:41:44 AMI remember when KG said he had no interest in joining the Celtics and wanted to go to L.A. It was cute, really.I mean, does everyone here have memory problems and forget that we went through this literally this exact same scenario in the last 18 months with Paul George?! LolI don’t get how people are not seeing right through this. It’s the classic LA machine tactics.

I mean it was heavily rumored he wanted LA but I don't remember this strong of a statement.
Telling ya, if we cannot get Davis, if that ship is sailed then get me NYKs pick unprotected for Kyrie...If pick is not #1 draft Barrett, draft a Horford replacement, draft a pg and be done with it.

New article from woj about Pels ownership and he quietly injected this paragraph in the middle:http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25872174/anthony-davis-crisis-test-pelicans-ownershipIt's somewhat transparent that Davis is interested in getting to the Los Angeles Lakers, which is why his trade demand is coming now, when other expected bidders are compromised. The Boston Celtics can't really get involved because of trade rules related to Kyrie Irving. The New York Knicks' potential best offer will be murky until their draft position is known in the spring.

Also, Al Horford has played really well since coming back from his injury for a guy who's "declining."
