they made more 2 point shots and three point shots than GS, plus the 3's were at a higher percentage. That isn't their problem. Their problem is and has been they either don't drive enough or don't drive to contact or both. They need to get to the line about twice as often as they do. That aggressiveness is what they are lacking. Tatum, irving, smart, brown, hayward, rozier all can do better at this. They are all athletic enough. They have the skills. It is the want to that is lacking.
It's not the athletic skills, it's the mindset.
Among the Celtic players right now, only Kyrie drives to the basket on a regular basis.
Sure guys like Tatum, Brown, Hayward, and Rozier are athletic enough, but their mindset is different.
There are players who want to drive to the basket every chance they get.
But some players want pull up jumpers, step backs, and fade-away shots.
I think once Tatum's body matures, he will drive to the basket more.
Celts need a big man like Vucevic.
He will score inside because that's what he loves to do.
Right now Horford is basically a stretch 4.
If the Celts can get Vucevic, Celts will have the option of playing inside-outside basketball.
