not a bad half but wished Smart and Irving didn't shoot that ball so early in those two last possessions

Decent half.  The effort is there, for the most part.  Some bad offensive possessions that I'd like to have back.

Marcus Smart needs to mirror Curry's minutes.  If Curry is in the game, Marcus is guarding him.

Kyrie is playing like Kyrie (including an occasional hero shot that I'd rather not see), I like what Horford is doing, and JB made a few plays.  I'd like to get more out of Tatum in the second half, and if somebody in Boston runs into Hayward, tell him there's a game going on and he's late.  We could use him.

Wow....reading here that Stevens got utterly outcoached and outsmarted by the defending champion GS coach Kerr. Stevens has apparently been p!ss poor in this game.

Boston down 2.

I guess that means if Stevens was having even a mediocre day coaching the C's would be winning in a blowout...to the 2 time defending champion who is the best team in the league currently playing their best ball while in the midst of a 9 game winning streak.

Unreal.🙄

The Brad hate around these parts is weird.

Yeah this is RANDOM. But I'm imagining this team minus a few guys but with Anthony Davis. FILTHY! Warriors would have no answer for him IMHO.

You are correct.

The problem is will the Pels cooperate and give us Anthony Davis.

I think the Pels are going to take whatever the best offer is. If that's us, then we'll get him.

True.

What I'm afraid of is Anthony Davis staying in Orleans and signing a max extension.

After one half, our starters can hang with the Warriors starters. Our bench however needs work
I think it's more our coaching needs work. Kerr balances his starters with his bench really well, whereas Brad loves to quickly, like in a 2 minute span, replace his starting 5 with his bench 5. Really hurts us against good teams like the Warriors, where a guy like Durant or Curry is still in

Part of it is they have two premier scorers , three if you consider Klay, so they can afford to keep one in at all times. We have one.

We have to take the good with the bad when it comes to Kyrie and Smart.

Ditto. If we had a Durant, Curry or Klay to stagger with the bench, we'd be in great shape.

I agree, but we also have 2 of the premier defenders in the league in Smart and Al, who were off when Curry scorched us. We need Smart to mirror Curry's minutes IMO, as others have said.

But criticism of our coaching can just be dismissed because we're doing well enough, I guess. ::)

Without Durant, GSW would be great.  Ridiculous with him.  C's holding their own, hopefully sustain the energy. And play D for the next 24 minutes.

I agree about Smart mirroring Curry’s minutes. We have to be careful with Horfords minutes though, with that knee tendinitis and his age, he’s going to get ample rest until the playoffs

I feel like when he misses his open shots he works harder to find his shot, leading to those terrible isolation sets against a 28 y/o former DPOY.

I'd enjoy watching this team build on what they already have along with the draft picks.  I just don't want to see him go to the Lakers.

Morris has looked a bit worn down the last couple of weeks

not a horrible half.  we're hanging with them.  missed some open looks and took some really stupid shots but still in this even with Morris cold as ice.
