The biggest issue here is that LaVar has pretty much stated Lonzo isn't playing for NOP. In that instance, NOP will balk at LAL's offer unless they get back another legit PG in the trade. I know it looks like a ton on paper, but if Ball doesn't plan on playing there, then their offer is basically Kuzma, Zubac, and then some expirings/$$. I expect Ingram doesn't have much trade value as people think too. And lastly, those future LAL picks will probably be in the 25-30 range for the next few years, so not as valuable either unless LAL throws multiple picks past 2022. I think if Lonzo/LaVar cave in, Pelicans may take that massive offer.

What does the Celtics offer for Davis look like? Can we get Davis without giving up both Tatum and Brown?

I cannot foresee a future in which danny trades tatum in a deal for Davis.

I don't think the Pelicans.want anything to do with that circus of a family, whether they agree to come or not.

Pretty much. But the Pelicans even in the beginning of this saga apparently really wanted Ball in the package since they loved the idea of him being their future PG, but now they've seen first hand what they'll have to deal with. In a way, that could throw a wrench into LA's plan and they'll probably need a 3rd team like Phoenix to help.

Crazy trade http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine

LAL needs to add 2-3 1st and some swaps, PHX needs to add a protected first. LAL would like future 2nd's so they don't have to buy them?

Imagine a world where the Lakers didn't trade D'Angelo Russell to move Mozgov's contract.  The Lakers' offer probably looks a lot better with an All-Star going to NOP.

And if they re-signed Randle who ironically playing for the Pelicans is putting up almost 20 and 10 a game, but instead signed guys like Caldwell-Pope, Stephenson, Beasley ect

They would alot closer to a playoff spot .  Or they could have taken the 36m they sent to the crime syndicate group .  Bought Beal and Gasol and played REAL basketball and given Luke something to work with.

I think the worst pic I saw was one where NBA Twitter posted a combined image of Harden and AD...  :-\

does Russell develop the same though?
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Hard to say, but there's still a good chance that he's better than any of the other garbage being offered by LA.
