at least there's a handful of us that see avery Bradley in rozier... and that's not a good thing.
He is AB.
Just more athletic, better shooter from deep, better rebounder, better of the dribble and more durable.
Rozier is NOT a better shooter from deep than Bradley. They are arguably comparable 3p shooters at this stage, as Bradley is around a 37% career 3pt shooter, and Rozier hit 38% of his 3s this season. But Bradley has a much more proven body of work regarding his 3pt shooting, outside of the shooting struggles he went through in the season (2012-2013) after his double shoulder surgery.
Bradley was hitting 3s at 40% by his sophomore season.
It took Rozier 'til his third season to start hitting 3s at a respectable 38%.
Bradley hit 38% of his 3s for a weak Detroit team this yr, and its more difficult to get open on teams like that with less floor spacing. And then his season 3pt average slid to .366% after a half dozen bad shooting games with the Clippers.
Both Bradley & Rozier have career highs of 8 3pt fgs made in a game.
Rozier's career high in scoring is 33. Bradley's career high in scoring is 32.
Bradley is typically less aggressive with volume shooting, and more cautious with shot selection than Rozier is. Which is arguably why Rozier has some nights where he looks like Ray Allen from deep, and other nights where he looks like JR Smith (on a JR Smith off night).
But anyways...Wayy too early to say that Rozier is a better shooter from deep than Bradley is. Not enough respect around here for AB ever since he's been gone. He may have been a lmtd player in some ways, but he was always a solid 3&D SG for the C's, ferrocious on defense, and the epitome of a Celtic attitude wise.
Food for thought.
