...and so did I and now we're about to see it. Rozzay has some Zeke in him when given the opportunity. Remember 2 years ago he stepped up in playoffs unexpectedly. Now he's playing for a contract. I'm expecting him to shine. I see why Ainge turned down Orlando for Ibaka.

He's great to have when Kyrie is out but he doesn't want to be backup forever. I would keep Rozzay over Smart if it came to it...but I want both of them to stay Celtics.

What similarities do you see to Isiah Thomas?

Rozier has exceeded expectations, but I don’t necessarily see the comparison.

Neither do I.

And I would think Rozier would be playing for a contract next year since the Cs still control him for another year.

And neither do I...he has grown beyond my expectations, but a lack of consistency has me concerned. He doesn't make anyone better, and he can still get wild.

But let's see how the playoffs go.

He isn't good enough to be consistent. But he is quite good coming off the bench.

He may have not traded for Ibaka because he didn’t want to pay a lot of money to a pretty average player who seemed to be on the decline.

No, you did not.  What Ainge saw was Rozier's performance in their pre-draft drills.  According to some reports, TRoz was the best they have ever seen at that.

The playoffs have a tendency of separating the men from the boys.  And if I’m being honest regarding rozier, I think he’ll be exposed.

A chance to start in the playoffs duringhis contract year is unlikely. This playoff run  will affect his contract worth to some extent. That's Not to say he wont be a better player next year. Playoffs just count for so much.

Edit: even though he can still easily ruin whatever inpression he has next season

I think a few of our players are going to open a lot of eyes in this series.... I predict a 40-point game for either Rozier, Brown or Tatum.

I'm excited to see an those three in attack mode in a full series where Brad can scheme and adjust game to game.

I'm fully expecting him to shine against the Bucks.  They don't have anyone who can guard him.  However, I'm hoping he doesn't go into full Westbrook mode and think shooting 25+ shots per game is a great idea.  Attack the rim and take good, IN RHYTHM jumpers.

I agree, BUT, if he does, better him than Morris though.

Yes and No.  I think when Morris tries to be "the guy" he's at least smart enough to go into the post or take his mid-range jumpers.  I'm not necessarily against those types of shots.  If he tries to shoot 10+ threes then no thanks.

If I am wanting to max out points based on shots taken and wanting to max out the ability for a player to score while they make those shots, I am taking Morris 7 days a week than over Rozier.

same. Rozier is too darn inconsistent still.
