Happy dance!!

Now add a scorer. Tyreke looks good. I wonder about Lou. He definitely has a longer history of being a volume scorer and he hasn't had the same health issues that Tyreke has had. Is he available for a reasonable price, and does he make sense from a team standpoint - does he need the ball all the time?

Edit - I just got "Brad Stevens" status for my 250th comment. Shouldn't Stevens be higher? Like, at least 1,000?

Stevens’ baby face is holding him back.

The fact Ainge signed him to less than the full DPE seems to be a strong indicator Monroe is only here for just this season.

Can't imagine Monroe signs for a measly $7m this summer.

$6 million, and it makes it less likely for sure.  But there’s not a lot of money out there this summer, so we’ll see.

Duh, math fail. For some reason in my head 5 x 1.2 equaled 7.

The first 1,000 999 are current Celtics. Once you get past that, it's into the legends etc.

Not sure who's ahead of him. I'd imagine Irving and Horford?
Edit:
Irving is 750-999
Hayward is 500-749
Horford is 400-499
Tatum is 300-399
Stevens is 250-299

after Irving you hit Bill Walton

This. I don't think most people realize how little salary there is out there for players this season.

I could see him getting a MLE somewhere, but I doubt he will get much more considering the number of players in FA this year and the smaller amount of money to go around.

Lou Will or Evans would be homeruns for the bench.

Now Ainge can move Yabu and 2018 Celtics #1 for Evans

He should be infinity, but I think that seniority of the status indicator matters around here.

Just one of those please.  Both would be overkill for a rental.

I don't see how it would be overkill, given that one of these two has zero trade value.

Agree. pick plus a player. Frees up another roster spot...and Yabu by himself isn't getting it done

I'll remember you this statement when I'll defend my actions in the mock game :D.

You don’t trade a young player you just brought over from Europe/China that you knew would spend most of the year in the G-League if he has zero trade value. You wait to see if the asset matured beyond zero. This was always going to be  a development year for him.

Nader on the other hand is prime trade filler.

I say Smart and Yabu for Lou-Will...rather than Evans.
