Honestly, what I think is more dirty now is the holdup with this trade. Seriously, make a darn decision already! All the players involved right now have to be irked with everything that's going on right now and this drama.
Hell, even the Nets Pick is probably mad it has no clue who it's conveying to

IT is the guy really getting shafted by this holdup. Altman may have to mollify his feelings about being used as a piece of leverage and being labelled as damaged goods because Altman wants to impress his boss Gilbert by getting a second rounder (lol).
I think the whole thing is disgraceful, honestly.
The Cavs are getting Thomas, a 29 PPG scoring all-star who just finished 5th in MVP voting after helping to carry his team to a #1 seed in the East. This same guy is on an expiring contract, so has all the motivation in the world to want to play hard and prove he's worth max money.
So what does Cleveland do? Insult the guy!
I mean, that is essentially what Cleveland is doing by asking fro more in this trade. They are basically telling Boston by "Thomas isn't good enough. Even with Crowder, Zizic and the Brooklyn 1st on top, that's still not enough for us to feel comfortable giving up our ONE guy."
Like Thomas wouldn't feel backstabbed enough by Boston...he's now basically being shat on by the team he's going to just to try and devalue him (in a contract year, when the last thing he wants is to be devalued) so they can have an excuse to ask for more.
Despicable.
