watched the "highlights" and he looks to be a 31 year old zizic who has slowed down.  ;D

glad the celtics picked up baynes. one more tough, physical player will help and it will give zizic a chance to develop.

ainge is doing amazing things.

well at least baynes should be tougher than tyler zeller.  but zeller was pudding soft. lol

all baynes needs to do mainly is grab rebounds and play defense.

not an amazing addition but a necessary one for a cheap price.

btw what is KCP doing since we are adding all these pistons players? lol

Did the Bradley trade open up enough space to sign Yabu? Last I heard he had to be stashed another year to open up enough space to sign Hayward.

I love this signing. It's exactly what we needed in terms of rounding out our roster.

For the critics that are pointing out his age - this is not a long-term solution. We needed a rebounder and a tough interior presence and that's exactly what Baynes brings to the table. He may not even play more than 15 minutes a game, but he'll give us solid production without a doubt. Zaza played a similar role for GSW and it worked well for them.
