Really hope we don't end up dumping Smart or Crowder for nickels on the dollar. Would hugely detract from the Hayward's value.
Nickels on the dollar?  We may not get anything at all for whoever we trade (except cap space that is).  And I'd be fine with it if that's what it took to get Hayward.

Gary Washburn: Four-year deal for Hayward. Now it’s likely Jae Crowder is on the trade market, Atlanta may be his next destination.

Who's available in ATL? Rebounder?

Is Washburn citing source or speculating?
While we need a rebounder, the trade would be for more cap space first and foremost.  That may be all we get.

I'd try to get Muscala from them. He would fit really well here.

Trade for a PF.

Yes

Crowder, rozier, future non lotto 1sts should be able to snag the Celts a nice PF

Hell the 76ers have way too many...

I would love one of Holmes or Jonah Bolden

Bolden looks great in summer league. We need some vets off our bench though, we have enough rookies and second year guys.

I'll go with Crowder or Smart. Bradley fits too well with IT-Gordon-Al.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

DKC Clippers

Not sure people appreciate how valuable Crowder is. His contract has 3 more years and only $22m on it. He's legitimately a good starter, arguably our 3rd best player last season. On the open market he'd make $20m/yr, easy. But it's hard to imagine getting fair trade value for him, as we have zero leverage.

Better to give up AB for nothing than to give up Crowder for 25 cents on the dollar.

Hold on to AB and dump Crowder.

Favors would be good. Faried would be good.

You can always trade AB once Brown and\or Tatum are ready.

So if you trade AB, who starts at the 2?  Brown or Smart?

Ainge still has the upper hand, he could still get good value for any one of AB, Crowder or Smart. He'll find another dumb GM to trade him an ungauranteed contract and a future 1st rounder.

Trade for a PF.

This...I havent seen someone lay out options of starting caliber PF/C's for us to trade for. Ideally he would be good at rebounding and can shoot 3's somewhat respectfully.
