One year contract for someone. Or maybe one year and team option.  Maintain cap space/flexibility. Don't blow your money on some third tier guy out of desperation or impatience.

I say Gallo.  Could be had on the cheap due to injury history.  When he is healthy and playing well, he is a study.

Not signing Hayward means Boston will have a ton next season. I personally think you will have to max IT then. It would be hard to let him walk when you cannot get high level stars to come to Boston

Hire a great PR man, because the summer will be an unmitigated disaster and Ainge will be down to the people who simply aren't ever going to admit they were wrong about him.

Hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. Another target escapes for a garbage offer. And then the "In Danny We Trust" machine goes to work, claiming the seller didn't take Trader Danny's better offer.

Rinse, repeat.

I don't get the hangup by Ainge on improving the roster. Zero trades since the DLee disaster in 15.
I just don't get it?

I understand George was a 1 yr rental.

Take a look at what Minnesota has done. Not afraid to improve.

Same old same B.S

Your Ainge diatribes are pathetic Coach.  He assembled a 53-win team and is sitting on a strong likelihood of having 4 top-5 picks on the roster over the next 3 years.  There is no GM in the league who can even sniff something like that.

I'll go with Gallo. He's an elite offensive weapon, and we know Danny has had interest in the past.

You don't know what elite means

Trade for DeAndre Jordan. Elite rim protector and rebounder and he can be probably be had for the Lak/Sac pick

lol. there is no gm in the league that only talk and do nothing. ainge had multiple chances to improve this squad to be contender and did 0% of that because he is scared to do moves. u only win championship if u have agressive GM. if there was no rondo injury bulls would beat celtics, the only reason that celtics were #1 seed is that cavs calculated for the last month or so, and all that stuff about draft picks like it's almost sure that we will get star players from draft. people here are like ainge puppets, whenever ainge pass on trade  that could take this squad to next level only thing u can hear is "but we still have draft picks" and that's on repeat, while ainge is colleting picks other teams are improving

Keep Thomas and Horford, go young everywhere else, accept that this is a bridge team unless and until Anthony Davis or Kristaps becomes available, at which point the dumb GMs of those teams will take a lesser offer because Danny refused to give up every last asset in the cupboard.

I'd consider taking Monroe off the Bucks hands for cheap as he has an expiring deal and I think he'd give us a better option at the 5 spot without impacting future flexibility.

Work on trying to extend at least 1 if IT/AB /Smart early.  Re-sign KO if you can do it for under 14/yr.
