I wouldn't call this evidence of rigging, more so evidence of gross incompetence on the part of the refs.

Yeah, that fiasco makes me think the ****ty officiating is just incompetence.

That's a cop out.  You can make that argument indefinitely, but you're likely to miss the big picture if you aren't willing to draw your own subjective line in the sand.  Professional sports amass way too much money for their not to be tampering.  The NBA doesn't even make much of an attempt to hide it.

This is why LeBron can get 4 fouls in the first half but never sniff another one the rest of the game. Refs know where the cash cow comes from.

I wonder if the rigged vs. poor officiating sides could have a more reasonable debate if referees weren't 5'3" guys that have never played basketball in their lives.  Convenient for the NBA.  Maybe they need a new HR dept?
