Durant looking like a lock for Finals MVP.

Cavs became too predictable, with Irving dominating the ball. Ran out of gas and they had nothing.

Lebron starting to look old?

LeBron IS getting old.  He played with two all-star teammates this season and won fewer games than the Celtics.  A couple years from now, he won't be able to play like this even with two days off between games.

And while it's easy and correct to blame Thompson for being a no-show, the one really being exposed is Kyrie.  There's a reason why the Cavs sucked before LeBron returned and why they still suck now when he's out.  Kyrie is a phenomenal scorer but he's only average or worse in every other aspect of the game.

Lebron also has a lot of mileage. They said no one except Tim duncan has played more minutes in the playoffs

I think you are seeing the one side of the story. What you are not seeing is the fact that this cavs team beat the warriors a year ago, and that same warriors team added a top 3 player.
Kyrie is phenonom like you mentioned, he's got so much fire in him, a tru winner, but this team we are talking about, the warriors, are like the gratest team EVER assembled

No team in NBA history has ever come back up from a 3-0 deficit and win the series.

It's just a matter of how the Warriors will close the series lol.

I'm talking about on court performance.  Kyrie is an unstoppable scorer when he gets going, but he's not really an elite shooter, is a decent rebounder and at best decent defender for his position but is actually a subpar distributor, even for a scoring point guard.

He's still relatively young, so perhaps he can elevate the rest of his game as LeBron declines.  He's going to have to do that, though, if the Cavs want to keep making the Finals.  Bron can probably hold it together through next season...but after that?

So, am I the only one wondering if Dr. Shaquille O'Neal ::) still needs to see the first four games of this series before he can tell us who he thinks will ultimately emerge victorious? ;D

Ideal game for me!

got to watch great player play a great basketball game and it culminated in a Lebron choke!

Wonder if he shows up at all for game 4. Wouldnt be surprised to see him throw in the towel.

@ Beat LA, hilarious GIF, im gonna save that puppy for future trolling!

Umm, glad I could help?

Just wondering how everyone feels now about Tyron Lue being such a great coach. Terrible job of coaching last night. Let's face it he is what I said he was last year - a figurehead and nothing else. He replaced Korver with Tristan Thompson with 12.9 seconds left (brilliant move) right after ISO IRVING blew the two for one while dribbling around the 3 pt line and taking a bad shot. BTW the 12.9 seconds left is when the wasted what about 10 seconds before fouling a great foul shooter in Durant. Lue is in way over his head.

Hard to draw a conclusion on Lue with Lebron coaching that team.

I'd expect he'd run a more motion heavy offense if he wasn't beholden to LBJ's iso&kick system.

Watching this finals, one thing that sticks out is how dominant guys like Curry and Kyrie are on the big stage, and how important players who create their own shots and shoot at an elite level are despite their size. It's even more reason to keep the pick and take Fultz. If he is anything like Kyrie/Curry/Harden, you can't pass on a player like that in today's NBA.

True, but he also wouldn't be the 'coach' of the Cavs if it wasn't for Lebron putting him in place.

The one thing this season has said regarding the Cavs at least, is they are just down right terrible without James.  Last night James sat for 2 minutes and the Cavs were outscored by 12 points in those 2 minutes.  That has been pretty consistent all year, and it is why James is getting tired at the end of games.  He just can't get rest during the game without the Cavs imploding against good teams (even against bad teams this happens, but they are still able to win most of those games).  The Cavs just flat out need to be able to play at least average ball without James if they ever want to win another title (obviously not this year, but in the future).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

KD is a monster. a guy that big who can handle ball. shoot 3's, block shots and rebound. That 3 in lebums face was sweet similar to THE TRUTH's in lebums face to ice game 5 in 2012.
