Yeah, this is what I expect too.

A short series. 4 or 5 games. Either a sweep or a gentleman's sweep.

I think most non-Celtic fans would also argue Cleveland has the 2nd best player in the series.

At this point I don't think you'd find too many people with reasonable knowledge of the NBA outside of Cleveland who would make a serious argument for Kyrie over Thomas.

Brian Windhorst, sure, but let's restrict our survey to people whose career isn't based on LeBron James.

Kyrie is a great one on one player but Thomas has surpassed him.
Thomas had a better season but who is better us a different argument

If you assume that this season is a one-off from Thomas then sure. Don't know why you'd assume that though.

Here's a more interesting argument: who's better, Horford or Love?

I'm curious if all this #1 pick Markelle Fultz talk affects the mental status of our guards going in to tonight's game.  The homer in me says "no way, these guys are super professionals, they are focused", but I wonder what I'd be thinking myself over the last 24 hours if I were them.

Cleveland has by far the best player in the series and I think most non-Celtic fans would also argue Cleveland has the 2nd best player in the series.  Cleveland won the season series 3-1.  Cleveland has had a cakewalk and lots of rest.  Cleveland has won the East the last two seasons and is the defending NBA champion.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boston was swept, but do expect them to win a game or two.

Non-Celtics fans might argue that Irving is > Thomas and longer term that's been true, but for the last two years it's clearly been IT > Irving by the stats and this year it wasn't close. Also AH is pretty close to KI and far ahead of KL.

Cavs in 6. If it goes 7, we'll win.

Boston get at least one. Maybe 2. They will not get swept

Yes, playing with LeBron and Love will do a number on your stats. Ask Ray Allen.

Even setting aside what Kyrie's stats / usage might be on a team without LeBron, I think Isaiah has become a much more well rounded scorer and playmaker than Kyrie.

Kyrie, to me, is Deluxe Jamal Crawford.  Isaiah is more than just a high usage isolation scorer.

I would also agree that Horford is more valuable than Kevin Love because of his defense and playmaking.

What we've seen Horford do for the Celts this year demonstrates, I think, why the Celts were so intersted in Love.

Horford is obviously not the rebounder that Love is, but I think he's better at scoring 1-on-1 inside against smaller or slower big men (e.g. Gortat), and he's a better passer and defender.

Well, it's becoming pretty obvious that Dunc'd is on to something.
